Counseling training grants

Equip people.
Deepen care.

Spaces bring people together. Training helps equip the people who walk alongside them. Grace Giving Globally is broadening its grant focus to support counseling training alongside construction and renovation projects.

Why this matters to us

Invest in the people
who care.

Our work has supported places where communities gather, learn, worship, and receive practical help. We also want to invest in the people serving within those communities.

People may bring grief, strained relationships, or difficult life experiences into a conversation with someone they trust. A desire to help matters. So does preparation: learning to listen carefully, recognize the limits of one’s role, and know when additional support is needed.

Supporting counseling training is a natural extension of our commitment to serving Christ and strengthening communities. Our aim is to help make learning more accessible to people who want to develop their ability to care for others.

What can stand in the way

The calling to care.
The challenge of training.

For someone ready to learn, finding a workable path can still be difficult.

More than course fees.

Tuition, books, travel, and time away from paid work can put training out of reach. Even a promising opportunity may be difficult to afford alongside everyday responsibilities.

Access is not equal.

Suitable training may be far from home, offered in an unfamiliar language, or difficult to attend without reliable internet. A course must fit the learner’s context as well as their goals.

Learning takes time.

Work, family, and ministry commitments do not pause for study. Applicants need a realistic plan for attending training and making room to learn and practice.

Good intentions need preparation.

Counseling involves trust and responsibility. Thoughtful training should address ethical boundaries, the limits of a learner’s role, and appropriate referral, rather than treating a short course as preparation for every situation.

A thoughtful next step

Tell us what
you hope to build.

A grant can help address a financial barrier. The training itself, and a practical plan for using it, matter too.

Tell us what training you have in mind, how much support you need, and how you hope to use what you learn. We can follow up for more details if needed.

This is an expanding focus area. Funding availability, eligible costs, and any additional information needed will be discussed during review. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
